The Power of Community and Collaboration

At EDvance College we work directly with community-based early childhood programs as Employer Partners to recruit, support, and graduate our students. This unique partnership allows us to build intentional pathway communities that reflect the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the families they serve. It also enables students to earn college credit for their work experience, making education more accessible and relevant to their careers. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for student degree attainment and career advancement, helping to build a skilled, diverse workforce that supports the growth and success of young children and their communities.

Employer Partners are an integral part of making higher education work for working educators. An EDvance Employment Partner is a:

Licensed or license except, publicly-funded/subsidized school district or Head Start/Early Head Start agency

A family child care provider

County office of education

Regardless of the type of agency, EDvance Employer Partners share an interest in supporting the development of their existing ECE workforce in degree attainment as well as creating new opportunities for those wishing to enter the field.

Employer Partners commit to maintaining students employed while enrolled in EDvance College and work with EDvance staff to ensure student success.
