As a Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. You will also support to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum which reflects observations and goals of individual children and facilitate regular parent/guardian communication and conferences to discuss orientation, transitions, and developmental goals. Class sizes 9-18 children, under 1:2, 1:3; 1:4 and 1:6 ratios. During extended absences of the Lead Teacher including illness, vacation, or job vacancy, fulfills all the duties of that position.
Must hold or be eligible for State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Associate Teacher Permit and/or at least 24 Early Childhood Education units + a minimum of 50 days of 3+hours/day work experience within 4 years .
